Kasey Burchman received her undergraduate degree from New York University (B.A., 2001), and graduated from Quinnipiac University School of Law, cum laude (2004).  She joined the firm in January 2005.  Kasey focuses her practice on civil litigation representing both plaintiffs and defendants at both the trial and appellate court levels.  She has extensive experience in representing condominium associations in litigation relating to contract disputes, unit owner disputes and construction defects.  She also has experience in litigating personal injury cases for claimants and defendants, insurance companies in complex coverage disputes and individuals in property disputes, including adverse possession and prescriptive easement claims.  She represents businesses and corporations in connection with business disputes, factoring agreements and collection claims.

Kasey also focuses her practice on common interest community law where she represents a wide variety of common interest communities and counsels them on governance issues, document amendments and restatements, commercial financing for capital improvement projects, rules and other document violations and common charge collections and foreclosures.

Kasey currently serves as secretary on the Connecticut Chapter of the Community Associations Institute (“CAI-CT”) Board of Directors and is a member of the Education Program Committee. Kasey is a frequent presenter at CAI-CT educational programs for condominium leaders, managers and unit owners

Kasey is a Connecticut native, born and raised in Norwich, Connecticut.  She currently resides in Wethersfield, Connecticut with her family.
